Title: Fried Green Tomatoes and Cucumber Slices

Yield: 4 Servings

2lgGreen tomatoes; sliced 1/2 " thick
1lgYellow cucumber; peeled
  Evaporated milk as needed
  Quick cooking rolled oats
  Oil as needed

Slice the green tomatoes about 1/2" thick. Peel 1 large yellow cucumber, slice and remove seeds. Season. Dip slices in evaporated milk, then in the oats. (Rub oats between your hands to make them fine. ) Fry slowly in hot oil until brown and tender.
